Dive watches, like the name implies, are watches that are suitable for underwater diving, and are rated at a water resistance minimum that’s greater than 10 ATM (atmospheres), which equals approximately 100 meters or 330 feet. Most divers watches have a water resistance of about 200 to 300 meters (660 – 990 feet). Some men’s and ladies dive watches are rated in bars instead of meters. To convert the number to meters, simply multiply by 10. So, a watch that is rated for 30 bars, equals 300 meters.

Gems4Me has diving watches from well known respectable brands like Seiko, Citizen, Luminox, Invicta, and Suunto at excellent discount prices. If you still manage to find a dive watch from an authorized dealer lower than ours, we will price match it. Additionally, free shipping is an option for domestic orders, and low international shipping rates are available, so there is no reason for any hesitation in placing an order. Our helpful sales staff is ready to assist you with your purchase or any inquiries you may have.

In order to ensure that your dive watch performs as it should when you are diving, you should have it maintained and also check it and the watch band prior to every dive. Most manufacturers recommend having your divers watch pressure tested on a regular basis—annually, or every two to three years—and also getting the seals replaced. Prior to diving, make sure that the crown is tightened in order to prevent water from entering the watch. After diving in seawater, most manufacturers also recommend rinsing your diver’s watch in fresh water, though leaving it in fresh water overnight is a good way to protect the watch from corrosion and to keep the crown, buttons and pressure sensors on digital ones working.
